Down for a road trip? CEO Club will be heading out to sunny Florida this fall for the National Conference! Come get tan and learn all about the business plan with us.

What is CEO Club?

L. William Seidman Center

CEO has helped launch multiple student-run start-ups in the past 3 years. We provide members with support, knowledge, networking opportunities and accountability to insure the maximum amount of success in their business ventures. We enhance our meetings by bringing industry leaders to speak on relevant topics, exploring local resources, and learning how to implement cutting edge business concepts into our projects.

CEO CLUB is NOT meeting for the summer. However, we will be picking back up in the fall so stay tuned! We will be undergoing some exciting revamps, including the acquisition of a company to be run by members of the club. If starting your own business, or working for a start-up is something that interests you, please feel free to email club president Lindsay Noonan at noonanl@mail.gvsu.edu.

What do we do?

The Collegiate Entrepreneurs’ Organization (CEO) is the premier entrepreneurship organization at GVSU. We focus on active goal setting and accountability to empower students and who are serious about building their personal human capital and taking their business to go to the next level. Don’t have an idea for a business yet? That’s okay! GVSU CEO Club has a collection of ideas submitted by partner firms in need of student teams to lead them. Our chapter is also runs a fully-operational business with positions varying from marketing to finance. Meetings will be held every other week, and will focus on giving members the skills necessary to succeed. The content of each meeting varies depending on the input and progress from the group. However, we focus primarily on the Business Model Canvas and how to apply what is learned in the classroom to the real world. Each meeting will center on a dynamic speaker–either from the club’s leadership board, or from a local Grand Rapids firm–to give a short, relevant lecture. Members will then get a chance to network and discuss the ideas presented with the speaker and fellow club members. The meeting will conclude with progress reports, and goal setting. Pizza and refreshments will be provided.

Why is what we do important?
